The award was presented by Bob Blurton, AXA FAN Qld State Manager in front of Ross’ peers at the February QLD Professional Development conference. In presenting this award Bob spoke highly of Rothgard’s achievements over the last year and Ross’ ability to find the time to maintain his involvement in the Financial Planning industry. |

This adviser has been heavily involved in giving back to the Industry, with active involvement in the AXA FAN practice management workshops, AFA & MDRT events. He participated in the program of the AFA at last year’s National Conference. He was also short listed to the final five for the AFA Adviser of the Year in 2007. He has also been very involved with the MDRT, having held State and National Director roles and presently holds a position on the International Executive committee of the MDRT. He is the first Australian to hold this high level of position with MDRT. This adviser’s business was recently chosen within the AXA FAN Leaders group for 2008...” Upon receiving the award Ross spoke of the team culture that Rothgard has worked so hard to achieve in 2007: “...It is quite humbling to receive this award for the second time. In a lot of ways this feels more like a team award though, as you can not achieve great things as a business principal without having a tremendous team to work with...”
